Embrace Spiritual Transformation in Yeshua: A Lifelong Journey

Have you ever sat in a church service with a large congregation and wondered, “Is there more to Yeshua than this?”

Or maybe you’ve listened to a pastor’s sermon and wondered, “Well, that was deep. But how am I supposed to apply that to my life today?”

You already know the reality—your life remains mostly the same outside those church doors. But many people hope their minds will be spiritually transformed so that they walk out of the church much differently than they came in.

Does this sound familiar?

Be encouraged! Transformation is possible regardless of your reality.

Spiritual transformation is a process deeper than a sermon and a large group of people. It is a personal, undeniable experience.

In the transformation process comes unlearning, tearing down, building up, and proving.

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Romans 12:2

Transformation is a beautiful life-long journey where you are constantly growing. When you accept Yeshua as your Master and Savior and begin to reconcile with YHWH as your Father, transformation truly takes on a new meaning.

Yah’s Word explains what being transformed by Yeshua our Messiah means. Here are a few:

Becoming one with Yah, the Father, and Yeshua, His Son.

“I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. John 17:20-21

Worshipping the Most High YHWH in spirit and truth.

God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth. John 4:24

Being led by the Holy Spirit.

But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me: And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning. John 15:26-27

Now let’s walk these three things down a little bit further:

  • You must know the voice of the Holy Spirit before you are led by it.
  • You must have a relationship with YHWH and His Son Yeshua to understand what it is like to be one with them.
  • You must know the truth so that you recognize what’s untrue.

Even with all of this, I am sure you have questions. And then more questions to the questions. I have and do! I get it and you’re in good company.

Is it clearer now to see how transformation is a life-long process?

All dots don’t take the same time to connect. So be patient with yourself and continue to lean in, even when uncomfortable.

When you are being transformed, it is easy to focus more on “getting there.” But in thinking this way, you lose focus on the fact that transformation is a process and a cycle you will continue to grow through.

We see transformations in nature all the time. We are formed from the ground of the earth so are we any different than nature itself?

While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease. Genesis 8:22

I hope you start to look at transformation as a beautiful thing and not something to be rushed. It must take the necessary time.

Because transformation is a life-long process, I hope this comforts you to know that it is never too late to change even after years or decades of staying the same.
